The Brief

To showcase some of the new season furniture items available on eBay for the customer that is truly honest about their furniture use.

OUR APPROACH

Imagine your couch right now. You love every part of it - the misshapen pillows, how it perfectly forms to your butt after years of training, the food remnants between the wall and the armrest where you secretly wipe your fingers instead of getting up and washing your damn hands. It’s beautiful. That’s why, when we were tasked with letting female millennials know about eBay's new furniture range, we wanted to be honest.

We were sick of seeing furniture ads that showed glamorous women settling in for a night on the couch dressed as if they were heading to the Oscars. Who the HECK sits on their couch in a ball gown and heels? No one! Our series of ads showed that eBay’s furniture was made for the everyday female millennial - a couch that can handle a few crumbs, your awkward (but inspired) sleeping positions, and general slobbery.
